Carlos Baradat is the founding and managing member of the Law Office of Carlos A. Baradat, P.A. where he focuses his practice on issues involving immigration, business, litigation, bar admission, as well as personal injury and electronic discovery. He graduated from Hodges University with a Bachelor in Legal Studies, and went on to earn a Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando, Florida.

Dario D. Diaz was born in Tampa, Florida, on June 26, 1967. His father immigrated from Cuba as a political exile first seeking asylum in Venezuela. His mother was the child of Spanish immigrants and a lifelong resident of Tampa. Diaz graduated from Tampa’s Jefferson High School and enrolled at the University of Florida. While attending the University of Florida, Diaz became active in the Naval ROTC program which ultimately resulted in his enlistment in the United States Marine Corps in 1987. He attended Marine Corps Boot Camp at Parris Island, South Carolina, where he graduated first in his Platoon, distinguishing himself as Honor Man. While in the Marines he received various awards and commendations. After Diaz completed his service he returned to Tampa but was reactivated to serve in Operation Desert Storm. Diaz received a Certificate of Commendation from the Commandant of the Marine Corps for his service and performance during Operation Desert Storm. Upon completion of law school in 1996 Diaz returned to Tampa and entered private practice as a partner in the law firm of Fernandez & Diaz, P.A. Diaz is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the Supreme Court of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Diaz’s trial practice involves civil, criminal, and foreclosure cases. He has tried cases in criminal, personal injury, and various civil matters.

Hardy L. Roberts, III is a trial lawyer who represents a diverse clientele in complex commercial disputes, including all types of construction litigation and regulation. He has extensive experience in all aspects of the regulation of numerous industries throughout the state of Florida from both a private and governmental perspective. As General Counsel and Interim Secretary of Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation, he supervised over 40 attorneys providing representation for the Division of Professions (including Contractors, Engineers, and Architects), Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, Condominiums and Mobile Homes, Hotels and Restaurants, Real Estate, and Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Roberts is board certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar.

Mark A. Smith is a litigator and counselor who focuses on construction litigation and construction contracting, Mark Smith represents a diverse range of clients, including homebuilders, public owners, civil contractors, specialty contractors, and design professionals. He has extensive experience in all manner of performance and defect disputes and particular expertise handling issues involving marine construction. Mark is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Florida Bar. He has been selected by Florida Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in six different years, including 2015.
